TYPES OF MOUNTING OPTIONS Inside Mount: To properly install an inside mount, a frame depth of at least 2 inches is required. For easy installation, the width of the shade should be 0.4 inches smaller than the window width. When placing an order, ensure to provide the exact width and height of the window inside. We will deduct 0.4 inches from the width of the order when crafting the shade, resulting in a final shade that is 0.4 inches less than the order width. If your window frame depth is less than 2 inches, consider opting for an outside mount.

Outside Mount: For optimal coverage, the width of the shade should typically be 3 to 6 inches wider than the window outside width, while the height should be 5 to 10 inches taller than the window outside height. Provide the final shade width and height when ordering, as no deductions will be made for outside mounts.

The necessary hardware for both inside and outside mounts is included in the package.

MEASURING FOR INSIDE MOUNT: Step 1: Measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement as the width when placing an order. Step 2: Measure the height at the left, middle, and right sides. Record the smallest measurement as the height when ordering.

MEASURING FOR OUTSIDE MOUNT: Step 1: Measure the outside frame width and add 6 to 10 inches for the outside mount width. Step 2: Measure the outside frame height and add 5 to 10 inches for the outside mount height.

A recommended overlap is advised to ensure adequate coverage and prevent light gaps.
